As of today, the Telin Internet Global Network (TIXNet) comprises 207,300 kilometers of submarine cable and 59 Points of Presence in 28 countries, enabling Telin to deliver high SLA for 99.5% or more for every type of business starting from SME to Large Enterprise and Carriers.
Specifically, Telin owns and operates the Indonesia Global Gateway (IGG) backbone connecting Manado-Dumai, Indonesia, which serves as a hub connecting the United States (SEA-US) and the Southeast Asia – Middle East – Western Europe 5 (SEA-ME-WE5) cables. Thus, Telin offers the only route connecting the USA to Asia that does not go through the disruption prone area of South China Sea, Luzon Strait and Japan, where cables frequently experience cutting and breakage.

Future Growth
Not resting on its laurels, Telin is currently developing a new cable route, the Southeast Asia–Japan 2 (SJC2), which will be ready by 2021. The SJC2 spans 10,500km, connecting 11 cable landing stations in Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, mainland China, Korea and Japan, with the Singapore – Hong Kong route of this cable service owned by Telin. The cable features eight fibre pairs, at least 18Tbps of capacity per fiber pair, with initial design capacity of 144 Tbps, which will boost traffic capacity yet further in Southeast Asia.
