Dili, 13 February 2025 – As part of Telin Group, Telin Timor Leste (Telkomcel) continues to play a key role in driving digital transformation in Timor-Leste. Marking 12 years of service, Telkomcel reaffirmed its commitment to social impact and inclusive digital development in collaboration with Prime Minister Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão.
“We thank the people and the Government of Timor-Leste for their trust over the past 12 years. We are proud to be a strategic partner in contributing to the nation's development, particularly in accelerating digital transformation that impacts community welfare,” said Benedictus Ardiyanto Priyo, CEO of Telkomcel.

To further support career and leadership growth, Telkomcel provides scholarships and leadership development programs, enabling employees to pursue higher education, including bachelor's and master's degrees. This is also a part of Telin Group’s broader education initiatives, which have provided top Telkomcel employees with global learning opportunities at leading universities such as Harvard Business School, Stanford Business School, INSEAD Business School, London Business School, Kellog School of Management, Wharton School, and MIT Sloan School.
Creating an Inclusive Work Environment Under the ESG Commitment
As part of Telin Group’s ESG Wheel, Telkomcel is committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace. Beyond professional growth, the company emphasizes employee well-being and community impact, reflected in initiatives such as spiritual journey programs and the establishment of community service centers (Uma Domin).
“With our commitment to inclusivity and sustainability, we believe that collaboration between the government, private sector, and communities will shape a digitally empowered Timor-Leste,” Benedictus added.
Looking Ahead: TAIS 2025
As a tangible step toward this vision, Telkomcel will host the Telkomcel Annual International Summit (TAIS) 2025 on February 27. This event will serve as a platform for industry leaders, government officials, and key stakeholders to discuss technological innovation, talent development, and inclusive digital strategies for Timor-Leste and beyond. Through TAIS 2025, Telkomcel aims to foster knowledge exchange and cross-sector collaboration, while solidifying its role as a key partner in building a sustainable digital ecosystem with the support from Timor Leste Government. With a strong foundation in technology, education, and social responsibility, Telkomcel remains committed to driving digital transformation and long-term growth for the future of Timor-Leste.
