Telkom Corporate University as one of Telkom’s Investment in Human Resources

Now telkom has set Center of Excellence ( CoE ) as a strategy number one in corporate value years 2012-2017. That means Human Resources investment is one of the main initiatives. “Investment in in the field of human resources is the main pillar of a corporation or organization to thrive”, said Director Telkom, Arief Yahya when he gives oration in the event Senate II Assembly Telkom Corporate University (Telkom CorpU) at Saraswati Theater, Campus CorpU, Bandung (1/2).

Arief Yahya said that Human Resources will determine viability of a company or organization. Besidet that, Human Resources have an replaceable role with the other units in the organizaton. Distinguishing between one company with other companies as well as one nation with any other nation is in human beings it is own. While distinguishing between people is in character and competence.

Telkom Corporate University must be able to become a container to improve employees TelkomGroup. By combining practical and conceptual methodology it can expected and produce great leaders, great people and produce Human Resources in international standard.

Referring to Telkom vision , He stated that the TIMES vision telkom do not just as jargon. Manage business is not easy but there is a strategy that must be understand. Not only expertise is needed but there is the role of networking to be understood. “Needed corporate strategy formula for build media business. Telkom will build 100 channel tv through cheap tariff  with range 25 thousand monthly”, said AY.

Related to expand to 10 countries in 2013, accordance with vision and mission of Telkom yakni “To Become a Leading TIMES Player in the Region”. The 10 countries is Singapura, Hongkong, East Timor, Australia, Macau, Taiwan, Malaysia, Arab Saudi, Korea, and Myanmar. “We wouldn’t be leading in the the region if it is win at home!”, said AY.***Corcomm
