Telin's Innovation Team Shines: First-Time Top 5 Finalist at TM Forum Catalyst Award in Bangkok

Bangkok, 5-7 November 2024 – PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin) successfully being the finalist in the TM Forum Catalyst Awards held at Innovate Asia in Bangkok from November 5-7, 2024. Telin was nominated in two categories, Moonshot Catalyst and Open Innovation Catalyst, in recognition of its innovative contributions in delivering digital solutions for the telecommunications sector, and placed as Top 5 Finalist from total 50 finalists across the globe. 

The TM Forum Catalyst Awards event showcased approximately only 15 Catalyst Innovation Projects in two main categories: Moonshot Catalyst and Open Innovation Catalyst. Telin was involved in two innovative projects within these categories. 

In the Moonshot Catalyst category, Telin presented the "GenAI-driven Customer Care for Multichannel Business" project, which aims to enhance the customer experience using Generative AI technology. This project is designed to simplify customer care services through intelligent data collection and root cause analysis. With this solution, the customer care team can address customer issues quickly, provide better service, and reduce the complexity of handling high ticket volumes. 

In the Open Innovation Catalyst category, Telin launched the "AI-driven Network Automation for Traffic and Service Resilience" project, focused on developing a more resilient network. This project aims to achieve 4/5 network automation levels by using artificial intelligence (AI) to improve network resilience, reduce downtime, and accelerate troubleshooting processes. This innovation not only enhances operational efficiency but also provides an overall better customer experience.

Telin’s participation in the TM Forum Catalyst Awards is an important step in its efforts to support digital transformation and enhance connectivity in the telecommunications sector. With this recognition, Telin demonstrates its commitment to continue delivering solutions based on cutting-edge technologies, such as AI and automation, to meet customer needs and advance the telecommunications industry.
