Telin, a subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia, won the People and Culture Award at the Carrier Community Global Awards 2024 for its HR management, which aligns with its Purpose, Vision, and Mission, resulting in increased employee engagement and productivity.

Berlin, June 13, 2024 – Telin, a global company from Indonesia and a subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia, Tbk (Telkom), has been honored with the People and Culture Award at the Carrier Community Global Awards (CCGA) 2024. The ceremony took place on June 13, 2024, in Berlin, Germany. Telin was recognized from among four shortlisted categories at the CCGA 2024.

Telin's Human Resources management aligns its strategy and business plan with the Company's Purpose, Vision, and Mission. In 2023, Telin achieved a significant milestone in enhancing the global employee experience, aiming for Digital Human Capital. This is evidenced by maintaining an Employee Engagement Index (EEI) score of 85.34, categorizing it as Highly Engaged. Additionally, the Communication Effectiveness index in 2023 remained in the Very Effective category with a score of 80.95. Employee productivity also saw a 1% growth compared to previous year. These enhancements in Employee Experience positively impacted Customer Experience, with the customer satisfaction index rising from 62.9 (quite satisfied) in 2022 to 82.3 (very satisfied).

To support sustainable business growth and Telin’s Vision, Human Resources (HR) management continuously improves its performance through the INTEGRATION strategy, focusing on four main pillars: People, Culture, Organization, and HC Enabler. These pillars are integrated into a comprehensive program that promotes a positive employee experience and a conducive work environment.

In the Culture pillar, Telin as a subsidiary of an Indonesian SOE (Telkom) has implemented a Corporate Culture value, namely AKHLAK since 2020. AKHLAK consists of the following values Amanah (Trustworthy), Kompeten (Competent), Harmonis (Harmony), Loyal (Loyal), Adaptif (Adaptive) dan Kolaboratif (Collaborative). AKHLAK Core Values within the Telin Group are built, developed, strengthened and maintained in a sustainable manner that includes four dimensions, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and physical. The responsibility for implementing and strengthening the AKHLAK Core Values is carried out by the Role Model, namely all Unit Leaders from the Board of Directors, Managing Director of Subsidiaries, SVP, and VP as Culture Champion and role models for implementing AKHLAK Core Values. Role Models are assisted by Culture Agents or Culture Boosters in their units to increase the effectiveness of culture implementation. To ensure the implementation and strengthening of AKHLAK core values, the role of Culture Facilitator is carried out by the Company’s human capital function.

In 2022, Telin also won the People and Culture category at the CCGA Awards. This prestigious recognition reinforces Telin's proactive role in promoting and advancing people and culture initiatives on a global scale.
