Jakarta, 17 October 2024Telin Chief Commercial Officer, Kharisma, participated as a key panelist at today’s prestigious Agent Force World Tour Jakarta event, contributing his insights on the role of generative AI in revolutionizing the customer experience at The Ritz-Carlton, Jakarta. The event conducted by Salesforce, centered around the latest research findings from Salesforce and YouGov, highlighting that generative AI is among the top business priorities for Indonesian C-suite executives. 

The panel discussion explored various themes, including the importance of data unification and the need for innovative customer and employee experiences to drive AI adoption. Salesforce's report revealed that despite its promising potential, many Indonesian leaders still face barriers, particularly in managing incomplete data and ensuring AI produces accurate outputs. 

Generative AI has the potential to revolutionize CRM by offering deeper customer insights, streamlining operations, and ultimately accelerating the sales cycle. The speed and personalization that AI brings will redefine how businesses interact with their customers, setting new standards for customer service and satisfaction. 

During the panel discussion, Kharisma emphasized the critical role of AI in transforming CRM processes, stating, I’m confident that implementing generative AI in CRM processes can greatly enhance productivity by deepening customer insights and accelerating the sales cycle.  

His comments reflect the enthusiasm among industry leaders to leverage AI in shaping the future of business operations in Indonesia. As the research findings showcased during the event also resonated with the perspective. According to the study, nearly half (49%) of Indonesian C-suite executives see generative AI as a driver for delivering innovative customer and employee experiences, while 46% are motivated by the growing customer demand for faster, more personalized interactions.
