Telin has launched Telinternship, a six-month program for final-year university students and recent graduates, offering real-world work experience and skills development, earning participants a certificate of accomplishment.

Jakarta, 1 July 2024 - PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin) proudly announces the launch of Telinternship, a certified, project-based internship program. Designed to provide final-year university students and recent graduates to take part within a real work of six-month project runs from July 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024.

The projects initiated from various units within Telin Group are designed to give an opportunity to the intern to engage in hands-on projects, collaborate with seasoned professionals, and acquire practical knowledge and exposure. For piloting, there are 5 projects that opened in Batch 1 in areas such as digital product, customer service operation, network performance, financial controller, and transformation office. 

Interns' achievements in Telinternship will be monitored through monthly KPIs, and their progress will be presented to mentors. Successful completion of the program will earn participants a certificate of accomplishment signed by CFRMO Telin, serving as a valuable job reference.

For the 1st Batch of the program, the Interns selection process began with 33 applicants that consisted of 30 recent graduates and 3 final year students. After the Telinternship vacancy closed, candidates underwent administrative screening to ensure alignment with their field of study, GPA, age, and graduation status (within one year for recent graduates). Shortlisted candidates were then evaluated based on their CVs and application forms, followed by interviews with the user (employer) and mentors, as well as a cultural interview by the Human Capital unit. The top five candidates were selected as the Intern of Telinternship Batch 1.0. 

Today's On-boarding session served as an orientation for the selected interns, introducing them to Telin's vision & mission, and corporate culture & values. Interns also received an overview of the project structure/ task and met their mentors. The session aimed to equip interns with the foundational knowledge and tools needed to thrive during their tenure at Telin.

Wahyudi Handriyanto, Human Capital VP, opened the Telinternship on-boarding session that was held on 1st of July 2024. He marked the start of an enriching journey for all Interns of Telinternship as an unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the telecommunications industry, also to explore careers, develop skills, and build their professional networks. For employers' point-of-view, Telinternship brings fresh perspectives and energy to the workplace, helps in talent development, and creates a pool of potential future employees. 

Within the on-boarding, the five Intern of Telintership also expressed their hope and personal objectives to learn new skills and experience working life at Telin through this program.

For the closing session, Doni Andriansyah, CFRMO Telin, remarked, “As pioneers to this Telinternship, from among those 33 candidates, the 5 interns will have tremendous opportunities to feel the real work experience through the project given out by the mentor. Besides that the progress will be regularly monitored by progress presentations,  potential interns of Telinternship will also have the opportunity to become Teliners. The upcoming projects given are part of Telin’s masterpiece and we’re proud to let all Pioneers Interns to take part in this' and give feedback for the project improvements."

The Telinternship program has begun with Batch 1 and will continue in the future to enhance Telin's corporate image by providing interns of the Telinternship with valuable work experiences of Telin’s projects.
