TELIN EXPAND NETWOROK TROUGH SJC
[Jakarta, 27 June, 2013] – Telin (Telkom’s subsidiary) and several parties incorporate in the SCJ Consortium, announced that the connection on Southeast Asia – Japan Cable System (SJC) already operating. The system that support TE Subcom and NEC Corporation provide a connection to several goal to accommodate the growth of to make an efisien cost.
The system of wires SJC is operated by a consortium of telecommunication companies and technology global connecting seven states such Brunei, Cina, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapura, Filipina, and Thailand. SJC had a connection to the international network and Telin local network thorugh BSCS and TIS.
SJC under sea network have 8000 kilometers than be extended until 8900 kilometers and can be extend until 9700 kilometers. The system of wires under sea SJC consisting of 6 fiber pairs with 28 tbps capacity to meet broadband applications such as the internet , video , data , and other multimedia services. As an illustration, SJC this incapable of supporting video streaming to 3 million high-definition video simultaneously.
Presiden Director Telin, Syarif Syarial Ahmad said that Telin step to join SJC is a piece of evidence seriousness Telin to strengthen international infrastructure to enhance telin to customer service. With the integration of the consortium Telin in this allows international networks become more varied. So , Telin could offer more benefits for customer.
