Jakarta, 27 March 2017 – Telin obtained ISO / IEC 27001: 2013 certification for international-based information security standards on IPLC, IP VPN and IP Transit services. The certificate was handed over directly by SGS Indonesia Director Jogani Shashibushan to Telin President Director Faizal R. Djoemadi who was witnessed by the Board of Directors and Telin Senior Leaders on the 24th floor, Gedung Menara Jamsostek, Jl. Gatot Subroto Kav. 38 South Jakarta, Monday (27/3/2017).
This certification complements the Company's success in maintaining the previous ISO 20000 standard, which has been achieved since 2015. In addition, this certification achievement is an acknowledgment from international institutions that Telin continues to work consistently in improving its credibility as an IPLC service provider, IP VPN and IP Transit. The achievement of ISO / IEC 27001: 2013 certification also proves that Telin is consistent in maintaining information security and improving service quality.
Telin President Director Faizal R. Djoemadi sent his appreciation who have made their contribution so that Telin in particular Directorate of Network and Information Technology successfully achieved ISO / IEC 27001: 2013. “The achievement of this certificate certainly adds excitement to all of us in providing the best service to the customers”, said Faizal.
The process of obtaining ISO 27001: 2013 certification has been conducted since March 2016 and continued with the internal audit in August 2016. The implementation of external audit is divided into two stages, stage 1: Location WHOCC Kalibata (Jakarta) on December 1, 2016 and stage 2 located at WHOCC Kalibata (Jakarta) and Batam Center & Bukit Dangas on 19-23 December 2016.
ISO / IEC 27001: 2013 is an international standard that should be applied to the Company's Information Security Management System (SMKI) to show the data that the company is managing meets the security standards. ISO 27001 Standardization itself contains company guidance in implementing, maintaining and improving the performance of information security management system in Company.
