The 2019 BATIC conference is a two-day event themed “Navigating in the Borderless Digital World”. This theme reflects the challenges that businesses face as they strive to keep up with the latest digital developments.

BATIC 2019 will focus on applications and benefits of next-generation digital technologies in the context of digital commerce transformation and value creation in the cloud economy. The first day of the conference, March 20th, will focuses on digital commerce transformation. These sessions will touch on how digital commerce is transforming from the perspective of e-commerce players, enablers, and emerging technology owners. Starts with the keynote speech from CEO of Wholesale and International Business Telkom Indonesia, Abdus Somad Arief, he will talk about next- generation technologies shaping the digital ecosystem. This will be followed by first speaker, Vinod Nair from Delta Partners, who will talk about how digital commerce landscape is changing. Next, perspective from digital commerce players will be presented by Santitarn Sathirathai (Group Chief Economists, SEA Group) and Jonathan Barki (VP of Corporate Strategy, Go-Jek). Insight from digital commerce enabler will be presented by Ignatius Eric Saputra, Country Head of NinjaXpress, who enable digital commerce through innovative logistic solution. Special topic about Blockchain, currently one of the most hyped technology, will be presented by Ling Wu Dong (CEO of TBCASoft) and Ery Punta Hendraswara (Chairman of Indonesia Blockchain Society). The day will be followed by a discussion session and Gala Dinner at GWK Cultural Park.

The second day, March 21st, of the conference is devoted to the creation of value in the cloud economy, among others through emerging technologies and partnership between cloud providers, connectivity providers, digital company and others. Day 2 will be started with opening speech by Chief Commercial Officer of Telin, Budi Satria Dharma Purba, who will share his view on cloud economy and role of carrier in the ecosystem. Broader view of cloud ecosystem will be presented by Vincent Stevens from Delta Partners in later session, while Sugianto Rahardja (Enterprise Lead, Google Cloud) will continue the session with his view on cloud analytic platform. From connectivity providers, Benney Cheng (Head of Strategic Project and Development, PCCW Global) will present about carrier growth in cloud economy. Last speaker of the day will be Crystal Widjaja, SVP of Business Intelligence and Growth of Go-Jek, Indonesia first unicorn. She will share how Go-Jek build their ecosystems in the cloud. Featuring all the Day 2 speaker, panel discussion will be held afterwards and Farewell Dinner as BATIC 2019 closing ceremony at Sofitel Nusa Dua.
