Jakarta, 20 May 2024 – Telin announced robust financial and operational results for the financial year ended 31 December 2023 during its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) today in Jakarta, Indonesia. Themed "Crafting Growth Drivers to Shape the Future," showcased Telin's continuous transformation towards the North Star Vision, becoming the digital infrastructure and platform partner of choice for enterprise and hyperscaler growth in the Asia-Pacific region.

The AGMS was attended by Telkom Indonesia Senior Vice President of Risk Management & Sustainability Jati Widagdo, representing Telkom Indonesia with a 99.99% share ownership in Telin; Didi Haryadi, holding 0.01% of shares; along with Telin's Board of Commissioners and Directors, Notary Shella Falianti S.H., and senior leaders from both Telin and its parent company, Telkom.

In his report, Telin's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Budi Satria Dharma Purba highlighted the challenges faced in 2023, including global instability that affected business growth and opportunities. Some of these were geopolitical factors due to the Russia-Ukraine war and escalating tensions in the Middle East, rising interest rates and foreign exchange values, a weakening global economy, and increased electricity costs impacting the profitability of Telin's data center business in Singapore.

Despite these challenges, Telin managed to achieve a revenue of IDR 11.4 trillion, an EBITDA of IDR 1.8 trillion, and a net income of IDR 953 billion, with global customers contributing 82% of total revenue.

Furthermore, he reported that in 2023, Telin initiated the deployment of the Indonesia Cable Express (ICE cable), a submarine cable communication system consisting of seven segments, aimed at establishing Indonesia as a central connectivity hub in the Indo-Pacific region. Additionally, Telin enhanced its digital platform capabilities through the automation of the TNex and NeuTrafiX platforms and offering WhatsApp Business Solution Provider (BSP) services through the NeuAPIX platform to capitalize on the shift of A2P traffic through OTT platforms.

Telin also focused on comprehensive transformation and innovation, along with intensified human resource transformations by boosting employee capabilities and leadership development, including a 25% increase in employee certifications to 541 international certifications and continuing mentorship programs for various management levels. Complementing these operational improvements, Telin's commitment to sustainability is embodied in its ESG Framework, which integrates environmental, social, and governance principles into all aspects of its operations, reinforcing its role as a responsible global company.

Going forward, Telin will prioritize the development of digital infrastructure, especially in the submarine cable sector, as a key strategy to support sustainable growth. This effort aims to solidify Telin's position as a key player in the regional telecommunications industry and to propel Indonesia into a strategic global connectivity hub.

Telin expresses its deep gratitude for the full support from all stakeholders, including all employees who have provided maximum support in achieving various important milestones.
