Hong Kong, 13 April 2017 – Telin with Graha Fatta and Conversant signed the cooperation of Content Delivery Network (CDN) and International A2P SMS at Hong Kong Telin Office, Suite 905, 9 / F, Ocean Center, 5 Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong on April 13, 2017. The signing of the cooperation was conducted by Telin Marketing and Sales Director, Budi Satria Dharma Purba, Director Graha Fatta, Sim Budiman Setiawan, CEO of Conversant, Kong Wai and CEO of Telin Hong Kong, Indarto Nata. The signing ceremony was also attended by New Business Sales VP, Made Teja Buana, Senior Account Manager of NBS, Bambang Utoyo and Senior Manager of Wholesale Business Telin Hong Kong, Bellinda Lee.
Partnership between Telin and Graha Fatta is to extend the contract until 2019, Graha Fatta in this case has been appointed by Conversant as the exclusive partner to do CDN business with Telin in Indonesia which consists of two things, Federation and Sales. Collaborated since 2013, the usage commitment is 300 TB / month, the new commitment being 1000 TB / month. In addition, both Telin and Graha Fatta will introduce Cloud Security for enterprise & government segment.
Meanwhile, the cooperation between Telin and Conversant is to send A2P SMS in the form of OTP SMS (One Time Password SMS) through Telin to 14 countries including Indonesia, Conversant will conduct direct connection with Telin in case of A2P SMS. Currently, for the termination of A2P SMS this year produces relatively large traffic. Nevertheless, all parties are optimistic that the traffic will continue to grow.
“For our business, Indonesia is top country, so we want to do it better. This cooperation will make us a strong CDN provider in Indonesia.
For A2P SMS, although currently serving A2P SMS termination for 2BLIVE.tv which is an OTT Media start up company, we believe that this business will continue to grow ", said Kong Wai.
Sim Budiman Setiawan on the occasion said the continuation of CDN service cooperation between Telin, Conversant and Graha Fatta is proof of commitment and good relationship that has been established for many years. Hopefully the results of this cooperation will achieve better results this year. “We are committed to increase investment in Indonesia by placing 13 new CDN servers in 6 major cities in Indonesia to support solutions for Media, E-commerce and Security customers, both Segment Media, Enterprise and Government. The main focus is on the Media segment especially OTT. In Indonesia many SMEs, so we will prepare a special package for SMEs according to their requirements ", said Budiman.
