Bali, 8 March 2017 – CEO of Wholesale and International Business (WIB) Telkom Honesti Basyir officially opened the Bali Annual Telkom International Conference 2017 (BATIC) with the theme “Brighten up the future through disruptive collaboration to embrace the digital business” at Hyatt Hotel, Nusa Dua, Bali, Wednesday (8/3/2017). The event was attended by all Telin Board of Directors and senior leaders of Telkom Group and participated by 250 participants from various telecommunication companies from around the world such as NGT, Tata Telecommunication, Cisco, PCCW Global, NG, Ganband, GTT, Juniper, DiGi of Telkom Group.
In the opening ceremony, Honesti welcomes and appreciates all participants who attended. According to Honesti, BATIC is an event held to explore more business opportunities and could strengthen the psychological bond for companies that have cooperated.
“The current world telecommunications business trends are a form of complex metamorphoses, ranging from devices to technological advances. Moreover, the lunge of OTT is increasingly superior to make some telecommunications companies in the world experience decreased revenue from the voice side, but inversely from the data side. Where the use of data is increasing traffic from day to day ", said Honesti.

Bali Annual Telkom International Conference (BATIC) was first held in 2010, followed by 2011 and 2012. After that, in 2017, BATIC was held at Grand Hyatt Hotel for three days (8-10 / 3/2017).
